Does a good job at improving the taste of the coffee, but more importantly to me is it also filters out coffee grinds that may accidently spill into the water chamber… a nice plus! Change the filter regularly and it will also extend the life of the coffee maker.

I love my Cusinart Coffee maker. Very Nice Machine. And if you want the best tasting coffee you need these water filters. I was a skeptic, but you really can taste the difference. Water filters? yeah I gotta have em!

I left my water filters unchanged for toooooo long (over a year). I can definitely taste the difference and am putting a reminder on my calendar to change the filter regularly.

They’re not cheap I guess, but if you use good coffee, why would you want it to taste like something ground you buy in a can? And if you use ground coffee from a can (some of which I like so I’m not slamming it), why wouldn’t you want it to taste as good as possible?

Now that we can find a good deal through Amazon, I am happy to keep replacing these filters. We can taste a distinct difference when using them. (Although we have not tried a different brand – I do not know if one exists for our Cuisinart)
